The link between the Palčić family and the red fields in the vicinity of Fiorini begins in 1957, when grandfather Giovanni moved to Fiorine and started growing olives. Today, three generations later, this link is stronger than ever, and that's why you can't write Thumbelina without Fiorini. Today, the family production is under the leadership of Peter, son of Giovanni, and Igor, son of Peter. Petar, a former director of a large agricultural company, uses the experience gained over the years, both from his father Giovanni and through the company he ran, while Igor, who holds a PhD in agricultural sciences, helps using new technologies and a scientific approach.
